Greg Martire, Managing Partner, has over twenty-five years of experience in the design of opinion and market research. He has conducted consumer and business-to-business research for a variety of industries, including newspapers, magazines, information services, telecommunications, healthcare, manufacturing and cultural institutions. He is the author of a number of publications dealing with media and public policy issues. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1975.
John Bartolomeo, Managing Partner, has over twenty-five years of market research experience that cuts across several industries including newspapers, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, financial services, and non-profits, among others. Another University of Pennsylvania graduate, he received his Ph.D. in 1977.
Andy Yaffee, Partner, previously Vice-President in the Custom Media division of Simmons Market Research Bureau. Andy has extensive research experience in the fields of print media, out-of-home media, trade show, and automotive research and has published several articles on non-daily newspapers. Andy has degrees in business and journalism from Northeastern University, the University of Missouri and Trinity College.
Doug Parent, Partner. Doug brings 15 years of consulting and marketing experience to CM&B. Before joining CM&B, Doug was a management consultant with Accenture's Strategic Services group, consulting on corporate and marketing/sales strategy issues for major telecommunications and consumer packaged goods firms.
Prior to receiving his MBA, Doug spent over 4 years Information Resources, Inc., where he led the development of sales and marketing-based, information-driven solutions for major consumer packaged goods firms.
Doug received his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1997.
Patrick Carbone, Vice President, has over ten years of supplier side market research experience. As well as being responsible for all phases of project management, Patrick is also involved in questionnaire development, analyzing data and writing reports.
Patrick's experience in research covers such diverse industries as telecommunications, financial services, newspapers and media, pharmaceutical and healthcare, non-profits and the arts, corporate communications and business-to-business.
Prior to joining CM&B in November 2002, Patrick was a Senior Project Manager at TNS Intersearch.
Dawn Payne, Vice President, has been with CM&B for the past ten years and has worked within the newspaper, consumer products, healthcare and pharmaceutical disciplines. Dawn came to the firm after spending more than seven years in the newspaper industry. Prior to joining CM&B, Dawn held research positions at the New Haven Register and The Record (Hackensack, NJ). She has an MBA in marketing and serves as an adjunct professor of marketing at Ramapo College.
Sean Kramer, Research Assistant, graduated magna cum laude in Marketing from Iona College's Hagan School of Business in 2006. As an undergraduate, Sean focused primarily in research methods and statistical analysis, and conducted several research projects for the marketing department. During his two and a half years at CM&B, Sean has worked primarily in the pharmaceutical field. His responsibilities include overseeing both qualitative and quantitative studies to their completion. Before coming to CM&B, Sean played two years of minor league baseball.
